For personal data that flows through the catalogue, we act as Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Other Indian enactments may apply in parallel.
B. What the catalogue is — and is not
The site is a wholesale enquiry board. A visitor may browse groups, open an item sheet, and lodge a rate enquiry. It does not contain a cart, a checkout, or any field that collects card numbers, UPI identifiers or bank-account digits. If a sale is later agreed, payment travels on a separate commercial track that sits outside this site.

The catalogue is not configured to store payment instruments. Personal records are not offered for sale.
D. Why the records are kept
Records exist so that we can: keep the board reachable and the enquiry box working; reply on rate, stock, packing, outbound freight and after-sale points that belong to the same enquiry; repair listing errors and slow pages; detect hostile traffic; and answer inspectors, tax officers and accountants.
A follow-up that belongs to an enquiry you already sent may go out. Unrelated promotional mail does not go out unless you have given a separate, recorded yes.
E. Lawful grounds
Depending on the step, we rely on:
- a tick or a submitted form (consent);
- steps you asked us to take before any sale is signed, or performance of a sale that later exists;
- running and defending a catalogue in a manner that is legitimate for this kind of operator;
- duties that statute, tax rules or a court place on us.
Consent that has not yet been used can be stopped by writing to business@satyamangvriddhi.com. Stopping it does not unwind work already done, and it does not erase files that a statute requires us to keep.
F. Who else may hold a copy
The list is short: hosts, mail movers and security monitors who work on our written instructions; a mill, warehouse or carrier only where they must see the enquiry in order to say whether goods exist; a lawyer or accountant bound to silence; a court, regulator or government office when the law requires handover.
Visitor files are not rented to advertising networks.
G. How long we keep them
An enquiry thread is ordinarily closed and then deleted, or stripped of identifiers, twenty-four months after the last message — unless an order, a dispute, a tax file or a lawsuit is still live, in which case the thread follows that longer clock.
Machine logs are seldom retained beyond twelve months.
H. Browser files
Only cookies the catalogue needs in order to load may be set. Cookies that belong to other companies for advertising are not dropped. You may switch cookies off in your software; some group pages or the enquiry box may then refuse to work.
I. What a Data Principal may ask
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to: show what we hold; correct what is wrong; erase what the Act permits us to erase; stop consent; and consider a complaint.

J. Safeguards, and persons under eighteen
Controls include HTTPS and restricted mailboxes. No path across a public network is free of residual risk.
These pages are written for people who buy in the course of trade. They are not a product for anyone under eighteen. We do not set out to collect a child’s data. If you believe a child has typed something in, write to us.
K. Opening the pages from outside India
The catalogue is operated from India. Loading it while you are abroad means the file may be handled in India.
